Crate and Barrel's Ultimate Wedding Contest

Our love story.

We met at a company Christmas party; we talked all night and found out we can both quote Full Metal Jacket and speak impeccable Spanish,and the world around me vanished as we laughed together and he held my hand. After a couple of dates we declared our love in front of a Pygmalion and Galatea painting at the Met. We got engaged at my favorite restaurant, he had a wooden box especially made which is a replica of my Noa perfume bottle, as I swiveled it open there was my ring and better than I ever pictured it.

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

ORCHIDS! I'm an absolute orchid fanatic! I opted for a lighter version of teal closer to a Tiffany blue, with ivory and gold accents. I want my bridesmaids to have different styles of Grecian gown in Ombre silk chiffon. We want a topsy-turvy cake, playful and elegant. My dress will probably be custom-made,Ivory silk. We want our ceremony in a traditional catholic church, all in Spanish. And our reception will be in Studio Square Empire Suite in Astoria, with the City of New York as our background.

Our everyday dream day.

Manny wakes up at 5:00AM every single day, so I will wake up with him and make him breakfast and send him off to work with a kiss still burning on his lips. I will work out until it's time to get ready for work. Come home and start dinner so that by the time he gets home to me he'll arrive just in time to help me chop the veggies as we catch up and enjoy a good wine, have silly debates or watch our favorite TV shows before falling asleep amidst kisses and laughter in each other's arms.
