Our love story.
I was diagnosed with cirrhosis and learned I needed a liver transplant in my teens. I never told David fearing he might leave me because I was different. Eventually David found out when I was rushed to the hospital for a liver infection. Since then, each time I am in the hospital, David is always by my side being my support system. I can always count on him to be sleeping next to me in an uncomfortable hospital chair. After four years, I’m still waiting for a transplant, but I know that I’m not waiting alone anymore.
Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.
When David and I think about the 3 most important details about our ultimate wedding date, it’s pretty simple. Some might call is clique, but it’s really just the type of people we are. 1. A scenic view of Washington DC, our home town 2. An abundance of friends and family 3. The most delicious culinary creation anyone has ever tasted, including a round of late night snacks for when the guests get rowdy
Our everyday dream day.
We both live under our parent’s roofs to save money for a home one day, a perfect day for us would be casual and relaxing where nothing is preplanned. I would feel energized and finances wouldn’t cross our minds for the entire day. Activities would be spontaneous and spur of the moment decisions, whether it is going out to grab a smoothie or watching a movie. The day would be topped off by us having a house to ourselves to test our culinary skills side by side in the kitchen and enjoying our gourmet creation together.
